1. Overview

This Privacy Policy explains what information JRZ Labs LLC ("JRZ Labs," "we," "us") collects, how we use it, and your choices. Our app delivers an intentionally irreverent coaching experience while maintaining respect for your privacy.

This Policy covers the RunProto mobile application (the "App"). By using the App, you agree to the practices described here.

2. Data We Collect

Today, the App collects the following information:

• Run duration (how long a session lasts)
• Mileage (distance covered during your run)
• Coach used (which coaching persona you selected)
• Device identifier (a device ID used for basic app functionality)

Location data: We may access your device's location services to calculate distance and pace during runs. Location data is processed on-device and we do not store precise GPS coordinates or track your location outside of active run sessions.

We do not collect your name, email address, or other direct identifiers at this time. Note that a device identifier can be considered personal data in some jurisdictions.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide non-personalized feedback during or after runs
• Track aggregate progress and App performance
• Maintain and improve App functionality and reliability
• Protect against abuse, security issues, and fraud

We do not currently personalize feedback based on your identity. If we introduce personalized features in the future, we will update this Policy and obtain any required consents.

4. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal data. We also do not share your data with third parties except as necessary to operate the App, comply with law, or protect rights and safety.

We do not use cookies or third-party tracking technologies in the App.

If we later use service providers (e.g., analytics or crash reporting), we will limit their access to what is necessary to perform services on our behalf and require them to protect your information. We will update this Policy to reflect such use.

Platform analytics: Apple and your device's operating system may collect diagnostic or usage data by default. Those collections are governed by the platform's own policies and your device settings, not by RunProto. You can adjust platform analytics preferences in your device settings.

5. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the App, maintain security, and comply with legal obligations. When no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify the data.

6. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Choices & Rights

You may request access to or deletion of information associated with your device by contacting us. To help us locate your records, include your device ID if possible.

You can also stop all data collection by uninstalling or ceasing to use the App.

8. Children

The App is not intended for children. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided information, please contact us so we can delete it.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice in the App or on our website. Your continued use of the App after the effective date signifies acceptance of the updated Policy.
